Hermés Bel Ami men's eau de toilette was inspired by Maupassant's famous French novel Bel Ami, or Darling. Jean-Louis Sieuzac, the author of this eau de toilette, designed Bel Ami as a celebration of the scent of leather in its most authentic form. In addition to leather tones, the fragrant composition contains amber, vetiver, oak moss, but also coconut with sweet vanilla and styrax. At the first smell, however, we can smell a mix of lemon, cardamom and bergamot with sage, which is complemented by a mandarin and orange aroma.
